About the Author
Melinda Farina founded Integrated Aesthetics Consulting Inc. in 2005. She is positioned and has been awarded by NYC’s premiere professional and elitist women’s affiliations, such as New York Women in Communication as the “long awaited fresh faced” female entrepreneur and networker in the health and beauty industry. She has been described as “refreshing with a no-nonsense business expertise” by renown industry leaders and publications “with an out with the old and in with ALL of the new and latest aesthetic trends attitude”.
Melinda is derived from a solid foundation and 15 years of extensive experience, licenses and numerous certifications in dentistry and business consulting, as well as, an educational backround from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New York University and Columbia University in Dental Science and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She takes pride in the fact that she has worked for and trained internally with some of the world’s best doctors and industry’ pioneers and has been able to apply this internal experience to her external practice management consultancy. She is also mentored by top level international banking and finance directors and applies her knowledge of business and finance to conform to economic times. With a natural talent for implementing successful consumer events, creating consumer brands that resonate with target audiences and a track record for getting practices back on their feet, Melinda is known as a results-driven professional.
Upon the peak of the recession in 2008-2009 Melinda recognized that there was a true need for and lack thereof quality patient referrals and business-to-business referral networking in the medical industry. After observing devastating plummeting production scales in many practices during this time, she felt an overwhelming responsibility to find a solution. This led her to strategically develop a much needed new business concept for the industry on which she’d never turn her back.
Melinda has respectfully gained a great reputation in the medical/dental industry. Patients come to her because she is known outside of the industry and positioned as an expert medical/health and aesthetic beauty consultant. She has an unmatched ability to spot aesthetic trends and aligns herself with a hand picked, tightly screened plethora of NYC’s top tiered, board certified doctors, specialists and brands. She has been featured on CBS, ABC and NBC morning and evening news segments, The Early Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet and AOL Health News as a expert commentator and as an actual patient of her clients, speaking on behalf of a variety of health and beauty topics.
Melinda and her team of professional consultants do all of the necessary legwork for inquiring patients, consulting with them before even walking into the doctors’ door. The Integrated Aesthetics Consulting team ensures that clients and patients alike are fully educated and informed, building the patients’ confidence with the doctor, prior to the doctor being introduced.
